The Maryland Water Agency Response Network formed in December 2009. County Executives from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford and Howard counties signed an agreement to help all members of the Network respond to emergencies and restore critical water and wastewater services. The mutual aid agreement provides for sharing emergency resources with members statewide; quicker response and recovery from disasters; developing emergency contacts and relationships; and learning new ways to deal with disasters.
