In May 1999, the Governor formed the Governor's Year-2000 Technical Preparedness Task Force (Executive Order 01.01.1999.14). The Task Force oversaw the Maryland Year 2000-Program Management Office, the Office's Information Clearinghouse, and Interagency Advisory Groups and Intergovernmental Advisory Groups formed to support the Year-2000 project.
In April 2000, a report was made to the Governor.
