The Joint Committee on Health Benefit Exchange Financing was authorized in June 2012 (Chapter 152, Acts of 2012). In consultation with the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, the Committee studied financing mechanisms that would enable the Exchange to become self-sustaining by 2015.
The Committee completed its work in December 2012.
