Member, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP); Ladies Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW); National Arbor Day Foundation. Member, Local no. 1619, Prince George's County Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics, International Association of Fire Fighters. Gratitude Award, Town of Colmar Manor, 2010. Married; two children.
