Founder and President, Clagett Enterprises, Inc., a property management firm, 1987-. Past president, Antietam Pharmacy Corporation. Former public school teacher and administrator. Chair, Board of Directors, Jefferson School. Member, Carroll Creek Rotary Club; Humane Society; Elks Club; Optimist Club; Frederick County Chamber of Commerce (past member, board of directors); Men's Garden Club; Little Boys' Book Club. Legislator of the Year Award, Maryland Classified Employees Association, 2008. Municipal Super Star, Maryland Municipal League, 2009, 2010, 2011 (certificate of appreciation, 2008). Member, All Saints' Episcopal Church. Married; three children.
