Born in Baltimore, Maryland, May 16, 1962. Attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute; University of Maryland College Park; Morgan State University. Member, Baltimore City Democratic Central Committee, 1982-94. Member, Young Democrats of Baltimore, 1982- (president, 1982-84). Vice-President, Young Democrats of Maryland, 1985. Sergeant at Arms, Young Democrats of America, 1984-85. Advance staff for Mondale Presidential Campaign, 1984. A leader in Operation Drug-out, a program that visited all high schools in Baltimore City, 1985-90 (recognized by CBS Evening News for its work with young people). Regional Director, New Entrepreneurship, a youth entrepreneurship training program, 1986-90. Radio show host, The C4 Show (WBAL-AM), 2007-. Award for downtown advocacy, Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, 2000.
